A short film, on being alone in nature.

I wanted to make a short film that wasn’t commercial, not for anyone else, just for the enjoyment of creating it. A good friend of mine, Alice, who is also a photographer and freelance filmmaker like me, has a very similar existence to myself.

We often trek out together, go hiking, chat camera gear and our favourite films, and just generally hang out! Working as a freelancer can actually be quite lonely. When everyone else is in work, you tend to have a tonne of free time, so you have to find ways to fill it!

I know what you are thinking (cry me a river). We tend to head out to the mountains to get out and away from our editing suites, and it makes for good scenes for filming. Check out the video below. And as always - VOLUME UP, 4K ON!
