My trusty Mamiya, a bag full of film, and a wedding bursting with character.

It’s defintely taken me a while to get to the stage where I feel comfortable shooting wedding moments on film. Years in fact. Years of shooting film, making mistakes and learning from them, and learning the nuances of film photography.

I now make sure to bring my film camera to each wedding, alongside my trusty Canon 5d Mark IV (digital workhorse). I personally think that having film shots adds a timeless romantic feel to a wedding package, and I’d love to share some of my shots below. The colour shots were taken on Kodak Portra 400 - a really versatile film, where the black and white images were shot on Kodak TriX 400. I absoluletly love these films when used with my Mamiya 645 PRO TL.
